Sound like fun? It is.

Participation in the Children’s Dance Festival brings many benefits:

  • program recognition and exposure
  • the opportunity to network with other teachers
  • a non-competitive performing opportunity for your students
  • young dancers meeting others who dance seriously
  • a chance for kids to work briefly with other teachers
  • participation in a diverse concert of dances before a large audience of supportive peers and adults.

Older dancers will have their own workshop and be inspiring role models for younger students.
The day is a lot of fun and the process is always enjoyable and fairly easy to accomplish well!

“My students have been excited to be there and are eager to return next year!” -Company Director

Due to the size of the space, we must limit the number of participants. Groups may not send more than 12‑15 dancers.  Groups that are not part of the Organizing Committee will be selected based on variety: technical style, age of dancers, material, etc.  Please send in the application on page 3. In a major change this year, we will not charge audience members for attending the concert, but will fund the festival through charging each participant $15. The concert will be free of charge. No child will be turned away for lack of ability to pay. Speak to Adrienne Hawkins 617-469-8787 about scholarships.

Deadline is April 1. No late applications will be accepted.

We look forward to meeting you!!
